CONFESSIONS OF A LATE BLOOMER

When I let my high school friend read my first entry here in my blog she told me that it was good and that it confirmed that I am a late bloomer. Not knowing what a late bloomer is, I reread the article that I sent her hoping that I can get a clue on what the word means.  But I did not. In which I consulted Wikipedia, oddly enough it exists. Late bloomers, I have learned are people whose talents and capacities are not visible to others until later than usual.

On questions about my talents and capacities, I am still enhancing them and figuring out what else is my purpose here in the universe. Hence the confessions:

1.      I first thought of naming this blog as Confessions of Late Bloomer but then I crossed it out because I won’t be making personal posts here often or more confessions of my life here.

CONVERSATIONS WITH STRANGERS: LADY NURSE

CONVERSATIONS WITH STRANGERS
Would you believe if I tell you that I have talked to three different strangers in half a day? In the end of every conversation after the stranger left I felt that the two of us are destined to meet at that day on that particular time. I have proven that there are human beings in this world that would simply mean nothing but to help you or that the old ones are not afraid to express their opinion.

TOASTED BREAD

TOASTED BREAD
Generally, we humans should learn how to cook at least, the simple meals. Instant food and food delivery can save us in a day. But what if both of them are not available and all we have are raw ingredients? That’s where our cooking skills would be useful. With this epiphany I have decided to learn how to prepare meals enough to feed myself and hopefully the whole household.

THE SUNDAY CURRENTLY: VOL 4

THE SUNDAY CURRENTLY

Cheers to us! May is my birth month (it made me feel special) and there had been a little progress in my job hunting. I am so happy yet anxious because it is not guaranteed money. It is a risk that I am uplifting to God Almighty.

And now to the Sunday currently:

SUMAKAH FESTIVAL

A better way of celebrating your birthday if you are not organizing a party is going to a festival. Take the opportunity to be there and be surrounded by festivity. It is like the whole town is celebrating your birthday.

FLOWERS OF MAY

FLOWERS OF MAY

Photographing flowers is my new obsession. It started when I was experimenting with my camera, discovering that there is a setting specified for taking photos of flowers. And when I try to experiment with the shutter I was amazed on the result. It helps that I can immediately see the difference in using the setting. It had been an inspired idea of stocking photos until this month before using them here in my blog. Because I want to call them Flowers of May.

PROJECT HAPPINESS: THE POWER OF WISH

In one of our group discussion in SFC we talked about the power of wish. Then we were asked to remember our childhood wishes that we eventually realized that it was too good to be true. I was second to the last to share because I cannot remember wishing something that I wanted when I was a child. It occurred to me that I never wished to have Barbie dolls and nice clothes or anything else tangible.
