The Happy List // 2

Ah life! Nothing much happened but it felt like something good is happening soon. It started when I shun away all the negative thoughts. And so, I list people or things that made me happy. I wish you guys are happy wherever you are. Go on be happy and take a risk!

1.      I was able to attend SFC’s activities. I am glad I was able to attend one GMT and three household with my new head. It seems everyone is busy in SFC too we were not able to chit chat after the GMT because everyone is headed to their scheduled activities.

2.      Gilas Pilipinas won the silver medal for FIBA Asia Championship. At least, they ranked second to China. I’ve watched the games on a local free TV channel with my brother and I’ve seen how determined our national team was to get the only slot to Rio Olympics. New fan of Terrence Romeo here!

3.      I have warmed up with my Cornerstone tutees. See the photo above? That’s the first two girls I am tutoring this season.

4.      Our washing machine had been fixed. Some rat ate the wires of our washing machine in the house. Good thing my father knows how to fix it.

5.      The weather. It is not hot anymore.

6.      I found my SFC notebook. It is a notebook where I jot down the talks and other stuff about SFC (Singles For Christ). I found it at the back of the drawer of our cabinet.

7.      De – cluttered my business email. I moved all the emails from a certain person to a different folder. Then I deleted all the promotional emails. I hope to do the same with my other email account.

8.      Watching make – up tutorial video. Yup, you read it right. I am finally serious on learning how to paint my face. I have new mascara, eye liner, eyebrow pencil, and a BB Cream. I you have tips for beginners please feel free to comment below.

9.      My favorite TV shows are back. The Vampire Diaries season 7 will air this week on ETC. Hunter x Hunter is back with new episodes on GMA 7 (a local TV channel).

10.  New blog theme and design. I found this new blog design that I am using right now on Pinterest. I like how clean this is! It was easily installed. Thank you Maira for providing bloggers like me a free blog design.

THE HAPPY LIST

Happiness is a state of mind. The more we think of the happy things that had happened the more we attract good karma. When I am sad I think all the good memories even if I am not directly involve. And so, here I am listing them. You should too. Comment below if you made your own happy list.

Project Happiness: From the Romans

ROMANS 12:2

Before this day ends I am leaving you this verse from Romans 12:2. Now, I don’t know about your religion or beliefs but I believe that all of us can learn from each other’s world or culture.

In case you are overwhelmed of what is happening in your life. In case you are confused I hope that you will be enlightened through this. I admit, I am still thinking of the best and clear interpretation of this verse but what I know is that it makes me happy reading this. It is like reminding me of something I cannot ignore.

To be frank, posting this makes me happy too, even though I have a little to say.  I hope that you too can do things that make you happy as long as it is legal.

PROJECT HAPPINESS: THE POWER OF WISH

In one of our group discussion in SFC we talked about the power of wish. Then we were asked to remember our childhood wishes that we eventually realized that it was too good to be true. I was second to the last to share because I cannot remember wishing something that I wanted when I was a child. It occurred to me that I never wished to have Barbie dolls and nice clothes or anything else tangible.

PROJECT HAPPINESS: THE HAPPY LIST

THE HAPPY LIST
In one of our group discussion in SFC we were asked to list the things that make us happy. Although, many people would argue if listing them is effective or not I would assume that making lists of things are not in there happy list. I find the activity uplifting since it focuses on what makes you happy. It set aside the things that drag our confidence down. I am proud to say that I have learned a thing in living a good life. That is focusing on the happy and positive thoughts. Move over pessimist! Here are the things that make me happy.

1.      Healthy family
2.      Volunteering in Cornerstone
3.      Joining Singles For Christ

PROJECT HAPPINESS: YOU AND OTHER THINGS

PROJECT HAPPINESS
How are you holding up? I hope you are doing fine and surviving this day. Today I am going to share a list of how we can be less worried and be happy. Incidentally I have proven them to be true based on what I have experience in my recent life activities.

1.      Don’t compromise yourself. You are all you’ve got. This quote from Janis Joplin somewhat confuses me but when I think more about it I get what her intention is. In simpler words, believe in yourself. Other people are present in your life just to guide you and to give you some conflicting choices. In the end of the day it is you who will decide what is best for you and what really is your worth.
2.      Always have a back-up plan. This does not sound positive at all. But hey, you have to accept that sometime our original plan do not work exactly on how we want it. Like, when I was doing the costume for the Little Red Hen for the Moving Up in Cornerstone the first one did not turn out okay. Good thing I have researched three designs so I am confident that I can make the costumes right on time.
3.      Keep a list of things that make you happy. List your happy things. List the happy moments and people that you give value. The objective of the list is to keep you focus on the happy thoughts not to dwell on sad moments. In doing the list please be honest with yourself. Do not put watching basketball games with my boyfriend if does not really make you happy. Okay?
4.      Smile. Lift that corner of your lips. Do it now. You will feel magic. That is instant happiness.
5.      Trust that God loves you no matter what. I do have nothing else to say than to affirm that there is someone up there who will always be at your side and will make you happy no matter what is your religion.

Be happy!

PROJECT HAPPINESS: SAY THE MAGIC WORDS

PROJECT HAPPINESS
Say the magic words. Even your pet know how.

When I was a kid I always heard abracadabra whenever other kids pretend that they were a magician. The game would not be complete if they did not say it. It was fun! Abracadabra is the magic word for those who know and practice magic tricks. But in our everyday normal life it is not the magic word.
