SAVE MOTHER EARTH

How wonderful to watch the sun rise and the way it set

The butterflies that are sipping pollen of colorful flowers

To hear the melodious voice of the birds in the tree

The laughter of the children playing hide-and-seek

To taste nature’s gift from sea and farm

All these are gifts from God

Time past

Man started to abuse nature

The green leaves are starting to turn gold

A sign of poverty, famine or may cause death

Land and water will be different

Marine life may vanish

Fresh air will be no more

Health or even life will be dangerous

 We will suffer

If this catastrophe occur when we are dead we are lucky

Though I doubt that we can find our luck in heaven

We will die!

We will die leaving unwanted legacy to our children and the next generation

Please help protect nature

Help save Mother Earth!

Help treasure the gifts of God

WHAT I WORE: BOHEMIAN ATTEMPT

It is when a certain theme is required for a party when I become creative and resourceful in my outfit. Back in College during our Christmas party someone thought that it would be cool to spice up the event by requiring us to wear shorts and we should do something with our hair. My classmates think that I looked like a fortune teller. I think they have not guessed what I am attempting.I just smiled despite myself. :) It would be pretty obvious that I am a Bohemian fan. What do you think?

            When I was in college I had experienced many things that sometimes I forget if it is part of the curriculum. It was those days that I become a believer of the saying, “Everything happens for a reason.”

            Teaching is a very rewarding profession.  I’d known that fact since the beginning of my school days. I gained more proof when I started volunteering for Cornerstone.  I have learned that it would take patience, determination, knowledge, and creativity to teach whether you are doing it as a profession or volunteering.

            Perhaps this is not new to you. Explaining this quote might result paraphrasing and redundancy. But I will do it anyway. We have our own interpretations of things. We have our own philosophy in life. This is mine. I may have written lot nonsense things here my blog. But you never say a word about it. I believe that somehow you read an article or two that pleases you or a poem that touches your heart. Well, that might be my moment. And that moment is good.

SWEET POTATO

            Our neighbor has a small vegetable garden in their empty lot. Once you go to our house it is impossible that you won’t notice it. I don’t know if they planned of having one or it is just a blessing of nature. They have a papaya, wild flowers, and sweet potato. I thought they are going maintain it the old - fashioned way until the vines of sweet potato started to crawl over their fence.

NO REASON TO HATE

  

I have no reason to hate you

I have no right to tell you that you are wrong

Besides, no one really knows what is earthly correct

Unless, what you have been acting is under the demand of the modern society

So really, I have no reason to hate you

I’ve got something better than hatred

Though this one is very much complicated

Unlike hatred this one will make us a bunch of fools

This one can lead us to our smiling thoughts

This one can also destroy our poise

But somehow this is very reason of our existence

Even if we give up on it

Someone will come along and bring it back to life

This one I am offering is hard to explain

Funny, because there are moments that we deny this to ourselves

Yet, its existence is much enjoyed

More than anyone else, offering this is easy

But considering the ratio of our society this is hard

I have no reason to hate you

I have no reason to be sad

Because I have love to give

I have love to receive

I am in love

I am in love with the idea of loving

It so powerful that it outruns some childish hatred

I am in love with the thought of happy possibility

So really I’ve got no reason to hate you

I may had some heartbreaks but I will get over it

WAYBACK WEDNESDAY: GUIUAN AND ITS DANCE

 

I danced even though I did not know what would be the next step. Lucky for me, my  dance partner guided me.

            It had been years since I visited my hometown Guiuan. The last vacation I had was with my cousins on July 2012 to remember the date anniversary of my grandmother. Many firsts happened during that trip: 1. I finance my own travel. 2. I rode in an airplane for the first time and 3. I met with my high school friends.

THE TUTORS

            If I am submitting a journal in my tutorial experience in Cornerstone that is based in Inuman Elementary School I would probably failed. I missed writing or rather publishing for two Saturdays. So much had happened. Luckily, I have taken photos that can compensate the words to fill this diary and some notes stored in my phone.
