QUOTES: PAPER TOWNS BY JOHN GREEN
You know, I have been trying to organize
my favorite quotes from Paper Towns but I always failed to comply for a long
time. Yesterday it happened. I discovered that all I needed were a cold weather
minus the internet connection.
One of my favorite is from the scene
where they played a game I spy while Q and his friends are on the road to New
York. It goes like this, “I spy with my little eye something I really like.” I
am tempted to post this on my Facebook. I would like to know how my friends
would react.
Here are my favorite quotes from
Paper Towns. I hope you find them on your list too.

FOUR MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES
"You
may be disappointed if you fail. But you are doomed if you do not try."
–
Beverly Sills
I am making some changes here in my
blog. Yes! I knew people want to read about different cultures and tradition so
I am going to do that. I am thinking of featuring places and food here in the
Philippines. This is a very ambitious attempt for a person who has no means in
travelling. But, I believe that luck would come to those who seek for the
things that he really wants.

A QUOTE FROM DON'T LOOK BACK BY JENNIFER ARMENTROUT
“You had your moments. And
those moments outshone everything.” – Don’t Look Back by Jennifer Armentrout
Perhaps this is not new to you.
Explaining this quote might result paraphrasing and redundancy. But I will do
it anyway. We have our own interpretations of things. We have our own
philosophy in life. This is mine. I may have written lot nonsense things here
my blog. But you never say a word about it. I believe that somehow you read an
article or two that pleases you or a poem that touches your heart. Well, that
might be my moment. And that moment is good.

QUOTES FROM THE FIVE PEOPLE YOU MEET IN HEAVEN BY MITCH ALBOM
People often
belittle the place where they were born. But heaven can be found in the most
corners unlikely corners.

QUOTES AND REVIEW: THE BLOOD OF OLYMPUS BY RICK RIORDAN
Finally!
I am done reading the newest book of Rick Riordan – The Blood of Olympus. My
high school friend and I are both waiting for the release of this book to know
if Leo Valdez will find a way to go back to Calypso. Did he? Well, I don’t want
to be a spoiler so I want you to read the book.
If you have finished reading the
book you might notice that most of the quotes I like are from Nico’s POV. I
appreciate how Rick Riordan let his readers see how some of his characters have
changed. I am talking about the characters of Nico di Angelo and his father
Hades the God of Death. I never expected that the author would give Nico his
change to “clear the air” with Percy’s character. I literally clapped my hand
when I read what Nico told Percy (it is the last quote in this blog).
Although my friend and I both agreed
that the ending is a really a cliff hanger, we are glad that everyone (I mean
the characters) are happy. Anyway, here are the quotes feel free to comment
your favorite.

SELECTED QUOTES FROM “LOVE, STARGIRL”
Lately,
I have been reading books, and as always I am in awe to the different world
that the authors are creating. I found the lines perfectly fitting in my
situation – the right words to describe.

QUOTE: THE FAULT IN OUR STARS
“There will come a time, when all of
us are dead. All of us. There will come a time when there are no human beings
remaining to remember that anyone ever existed or that our species did
anything. There will be no one left to remember Aristotle or Cleopatra, let
alone you. Everything that we did and built and wrote and thought and
discovered will be forgotten and all of this will have been for naught. Maybe that
time is coming soon and maybe it is millions of years away, but even if we
survive the collapse of our sun, we will not survive forever. There was a time
before organisms experienced consciousness, and there will be time after. And
if the inevitability of human oblivion worries you, I encourage you to ignore
it. God knows what everyone else does.” -
